We had previously blocked it for old Mac OS X versions because they would not be updated anyway, and we were holding off on updating modern versions because of a bug in the Add-ons Manager that is now fixed in Firefox 12.

  1. Click Tools(Gear symbol in the upper right hand corner of the browser) and then click Internet Options.
  2. Select the Security tab, and select the Custom Level button.
  3. Scroll down to Scripting of Java applets.
  4. Make sure the Enable radio button is checked.
  5. Click OK to save your preference.
